Our Story

Worn close enough to matter.

It started with a simple question: if I'm wearing this thing on my wrist all day, every day, what's it actually made of?

Turns out most bands are plastic and can shed microplastics — or leach endocrine-disrupting chemicals into the body. Silicone. Nylon. Polyester. All of it touching your skin, all day, every day.

Leather and stainless steel bands have their place — but we wanted something softer, more natural, and comfortable enough to wear all day (even to bed). So we made something else.

No plastic, no compromise, no shortcuts — right down to the cotton tag and the soybean ink we print it with.

The 80/20 approach.

Plastic is everywhere, and you probably can't eliminate all of it (nor do you need to).

Focus on the 80% that matters. What you eat. What you drink. What touches your skin.

Start with what's closest.

What's next.

We're launching with an undyed, unbleached cotton band. The most honest version of what we make — nothing added, nothing covering the natural color of the fiber.

More colorways are coming. But only once we've found a dye that meets our standard.

No shortcuts.
